Alejandro Jimenez  (Civil Engineering – General Option)

Alejandro is a Civil Engineering student with a general option. He currently is a full-time student at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Alejandro processes and geo-references. las data in Trimble RealWorks prior to exporting the data to AutoCAD Revit. During free time, he would refamiliarize himself with the workings of the software while leaving videos & streams playing in the background. Hobbies include playing sports and video games, which encourage working in a team setting and familiarizes with the basics of software. Strengths include previous experience with the software, as well as understanding the mechanics behind the project. Playing team sports gives you an understanding of how important roles are in teams. If one person falls behind on contributions, that can slow down the project for everyone. understanding the mechanics behind the project. Playing team sports gives you an understanding of how important roles are in teams. If one person falls behind on contributions, that can slow the entire project for everyone else. As such, he will try his best to understand his role, but will not hesitate to ask questions to make the process go along more smoothly. Alejandro is looking forward to learning more about the other members and making connections with them and hopes the project will go smoothly for everyone.

Christopher Dunn  (Civil Engineering – Geospatial Option )

Christopher Dunn Civil Engineering Geospatial option. Has had a 2 Year internship with Caltrans D11 helping with surveying and 3D AutoCAD drafting. Experience with surveying and using various CAD software helped in the interpretation and understanding of Trimble Real Works, and Context Capture without too much difficulty. Productive use of free time was spent looking up tutorials on how to use the software utilized for this project to aid self and other who many need it. Hobbies include working/maintaining 30-year-old work truck/daily driver, playing video games, long boarding, fishing, and working out every so often. Strengths include visualizing objects prior to creating them in a 3D space and being adaptable. This was useful when learning unfamiliar programs in this project. This project was both an individual and group project, with everyone having a task they had to perform. Having played team-based sports most for 15+ years knowing how to work with others comes naturally. Knowing that failure to complete an individual part not only affects said individual but also everyone in said group is; this is of the upmost importance. Being well informed on what is expected of him and that of the group is what he strives to do. He is looking forward to the future and what it holds for him and his collogues.

Christopher Rodriguez-Ruiz (Civil Engineering - General Option)

Christopher is an undergraduate student majoring in Civil Engineering - General Option. He is currently working for the City of Corona Public Works Department as an intern II. Working out was a challenge for him at first, but he is not afraid to take challenges that will help him in the long run. Context Capture and Trimble Real works were software’s that were challenging for him at first but over time he was able to measure his proficiency. This is how Felipe fits into the team, he is not someone to give up easily and is always willing to learn and try new things. Felipe is looking forward to learning more from his teammates and hopes this senior project to help him in advance his career.

Isabelle Guido (Civil Engineering - General Option)

Isabelle Guido is a Civil Engineering student with a general option. She currently interns with the City of Anaheim in traffic engineering. The position has helped her develop many skills including accelerating in drafting software, exposure to plan sets, and networking with individuals within the public and private sector. Working with a large team of interns and engineers within a high developing city has allowed her to witness how individual input comes together to create a final team project. Along with her work experience, school has provided her with many opportunities to explore the civil engineering divisions. Her hobbies include exploring new places and painting, and hopes to apply these into the geospatial field as it requires using best management practices to assess the site as well as creativity for the presentation. She believes her biggest asset to this team her willingness to challenge herself in order to create a successful outcome.

Jordan Ngo (Civil Engineering – Geospatial Option)
